I am a dedicated artist-educator who has been exploring the development of unique art educational experiences in a variety of contexts for over ten years. I have experience working with K-12, young adult, and adult learners. My work embraces an interdisciplinary approach with a focus on experiential learning and collaboration. I use my experiences to help transform the art space into a center for emotional growth and expansion. My most recent position as Photography and Studio Art Instructor allowed for a high engagement within the digital arts including but not limited to Photography, Illustration, and Graphic Design and traditional art forms such as Painting, Drawing, Ceramics, and Printmaking. Currently, I serve as an Academic Advisor and the chair on the Culturally Responsive Teaching Equity Team, helping teachers to build responsive classrooms.
